Electric Pump Corporate Philanthropy

Customer: Village of Overton, NE

Scope of Work: Replace existing 3 hp ABS submersible pump in pump station. This station
pumps to the wastewater treatment lagoons.

Problem: The existing pumps were plugging daily with rags and debris (even with the use of a trash basket). The Village was required to pull the pumps 4-5 times per week to remove rags/debris to keep the flow through the station.

The next is a case study for  Elhorn, NE.

Customer: City of Omaha I Elkhorn Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)

Scope of Work: Replace existing 15 hp ABS dry-pit submersible pump in WWTP influent pump station. This station pumps to the treatment plant headworks building with an automatic bar screen & grit removal.

Problem: The existing pumps were plugging daily with rags and debris. The existing solution was to mount a manual hoist above each pump in order to lift the power frame and impeller out of the volute every day (including weekends). This was done to improve access to the equipment for removal of rags from the impeller and volute. The customer was hoping to make it through the night without a call out.
